The ongoing rift in the relationship between Kyrie Irving and LeBron James has been well documented. All of the ongoing drama between the two stars on the Cleveland Cavaliers has all culminated with a blockbuster trade which went down this evening. Kyrie Irving was shipped to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, and the Brooklyn Nets 2018 pick.
LeBron James seemed to show no ill will towards Irving after the trade went down.

On a video of a fan paying respects to the former Cavs guard, LeBron thanks Kyrie and lets him know that this is what happens to the best players. LeBron rightfully thanked Kyrie, without his big shot in game seven of the 2016 NBA finals, a championship would’ve never brought a championship to Cleveland.
Irving got his wish to leave and now it remains to be seen what will happen with “The King”.

Irving will now get his shot to be the man of a team and LBJ appears to have no hard feelings.
