Last season’s ‘Team Turmoil’ isn’t done giving fans headaches well into the new NBA season, it would appear.
The Chicago Bulls ran into some problems during the meaty part of 2016-17, especially as young players reportedly started to resent Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler.
This week, there was a report that the two stars actually had issues with each other, stemming from a game of spades.
Butler – who’s no longer with the team – was having none of it.

“The only beef he and I could possibly have is who is a better dresser right now,” Butler joked to the Chicago Tribune.
Butler also commented on the feelings of ill-will some young players had towards Wade last season.

Luckily for those players, Wade should be out of a Bulls uniform soon enough.
Butler already is, having been traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he has a chance to sniff an impressive level of team success, though who knows if he’ll be able to reach the postseason’s second round.
Wade and Butler seem like the kind of guys who would be good friends, but maybe they’ll be better off playing for opposite teams next year.
